Whispers of November Nights

By Harleen Kaur

November nights, so calm, so still,

A silver moonlight crowns the hill.

Stars like diamonds softly gleam,

Casting spells of a tranquil dream.

The air is crisp, with a frosty bite,

A quiet hush blankets the night.

Leaves once fiery now gently sleep,

In autumn’s arms, they softly weep.

Chimneys puff their cozy streams,

Homes aglow with hearth-lit beams.

Footsteps echo on the frosted ground,

A soothing peace in silence found.

The winds, they hum a wistful tune,

Dancing clouds flirt with the moon.

November whispers of time’s embrace,

Of fleeting moments, of nature’s grace.

Winter waits at the season’s gate,

With snowy gifts and a frosty fate.

But for now, November holds her reign,

A fleeting beauty, tender, and plain.
