A Short Story:
At midnight, at a bus stop, two couples were waiting for a bus to go to their village from city. They had been waiting for an hour. A car passed by and then came back. The couples thought about asking for a lift but noticed the driver was drunk when he got out of the car.
The drunk driver hit one of the men and took his wife. The man tried to fight back, but the driver hit him hard, and he fell down. The driver then took the woman to a nearby restroom and locked the door.
The man woke up and started banging on the door, but it was very strong. He looked around and saw a shop far away. He went there to get help and brought back two people. They all started hitting the door, and finally, the drunk driver opened it.
Everyone was shocked to see that the driver was holding a crying baby. Feeling very emotional, he handed the baby to its father without speaking and quickly drove away. The man entered the restroom and found his wife alive. He asked her what had happened.
She explained that when the driver closed the door, she shouted loudly, and he hit her hard. She fell down and started bleeding. The driver noticed the bleeding and realized she was pregnant. She was in a lot of pain, and the baby started to come out. The driver helped her deliver the baby.
The man was emotional and appreciated the driver’s help, despite what had happened.
Originally, the couples had gone to city to deliver the baby at the hospital, but the cost was too high. They decided it was better to return to their village's government hospital.
With the help of nearby people, the couples, with their baby, went home safely. This story shows that a person can change at any time based on the situation.
