In the velvet sky, a streak of light,
A shooting star, so brief and bright.
Like Shona, my best friend, so dear,
Entered swiftly, filled with cheer.
Brightening days with love and grace,
Equivalent to a brother, in every embrace.
But like the star, too soon to fade,
Leaving memories that never evade.
In the deep grief, I find solace,
And the love we shared, in every embrace.
Though brief your stay, forever you'll be,
My shooting star, shining eternally.
