Up from my window I saw her, walking down the lane with her hair open.
For some reason, the blood in my veins ran faster than ever.
A part of me said it was wrong, but it's not like I could help it.
I just stood there, watching her walk away.
Later that eve, I head out from home,
And down the stairs I encountered her, calling me out.
I lived an hour in just a minute, for there was so much inside me.
She looked the same as I had left her few years back, the same glow.
My lips didn't allow me to speak much, just a formal greeting.
For some reason, I wanted to run away as soon as I could.
Not knowing why, I did. Turning my back onto her as she stood by.
I regret it now. If I could again, I at least want to listen her more,
Get lost in her eyes,
Just watch her smile.
