Don't rob me from my pain,
It's the only thing I can attain,
Don't give me hope,
It feels bad after a drop.
Solitude feels like treasure,
And gives a lot of pleasure,
Ignoring its pit,
My mind accepts it.
Sadness feels like a companion,
Misunderstood by everyone,
Cuddling me like a lover,
Let us stay together.
Overthinking becomes escape,
In the ocean brain like a cape,
Where stress finds its shelter,
Thoughts that scream spectre.
Tears in eyes feels relieving,
I put away the burden by crying,
Then nod gently with a smile,
Trying to hide the inner vile.
Don't separate me from pain,
If you'd turn out in vain,
I will have to face it back,
And the courage I would lack.
