Moonlight

By Roopanshi Gupta

The cozy night, every step I hear,

Making me nervous, yet excitement near.

Walking fast through, we reach the gate,

My eyes searching, caught in fate.

Among the crowd, my gaze takes flight,

To capture nature's beauty in the light.

In the dark, the blackness glows,

"Turn off the light!" my heart bestows.

Oh my God, the blurry blackish sight,

Reveals the wonder in the still of night.

The Taj Mahal, its beauty unfolds,

A story the moonlit heavens told.

The longer we gaze, the prettier it seems,

A full moon crowns it, like a dream.

Fog like clouds, floating high,

The Taj Mahal, touching the sky.

Few people, calm and serene,

Amplify its beauty, unseen.

No noise, just a cozy breeze,

Moonlight and me, at ease.

The water reflects, a sight divine,

Tenfold its beauty, a treasure of time.

Adorable, breathtaking, a heavenly glow,

But more than the Taj, it's about me

The night out, the walk, the thrill,

Capturing pictures, memories still.

Worries vanished, the journey clear,

Everything smooth, everything near.

Thanking God, and my brother too,

For making dreams and moments true.

A sister's joy, a company so dear,

Grateful for the night, forever sincere.
