Line A Wound

By Bandana Terangpi

The ink flows dark

from quill the page but soon it thicken

caught in a rage as ink turns to blood by sorrow fed

each line a wound, each verse a scar,

in the heart of the papers, life fed strife.

Ink turns blood and bleeds out life.
