In Zeus’s court , out of stardust once rose a goddess the gods gasped at her beauty. The courtiers pushed each other to get one look at her as she stood amidst the court of the king of olympia. A little river nymph who rose on her tiptoes to atleast get one glance of the beautiful event , finally saw the goddess who rose from stardust . The little Nymh, fascinated by how the beautiful goddess was just born moonwater and stardust, wondered “ How Do You Kill a God?”
The little Nymph, unable to contain her curiosity, approached Aphroditie’s Chambers. The goddess of beauty was brushing her hair . “ How do you kill a god?” asked the little nymph in a meek voice. Aphrodite laughs, her head tipped back with stars in her hair “ We are immortal , We are ageless we will never die”.
The little nymph then went to the Queen of Gods, Hera “ How do you kill a god?” asked the water nymph again. Hera with pain in her voice , thought of her husband and what he had done to her “ You rob them of love and loyalty. They will be alone and unhappy and eternity will seem like a punishment but not death”.
The Nymph then drifted to the council room where the Kind of gods and God of the sea were seated, deep in conversation. “How do you kill a god?” echoed the voice of the nymph again. Zeus declared rather confidently “ You rob them of their power” Posiden nodded his head in agreement.” They will be weak and defeated, even chopped to pieces, but not dead”. Zeus thought about how he had chopped his own father into pieces for the sake of his brothers and sisters.
The little Nymph further ventured into the palace and was drawn to the beautiful music. She entered into the chamber of the sun god, who was the source of the magnetic music. “ How do you kill a god?” sounded a voice as soon as the music came to an end. Apollo closed his eyes “ you strip them of their senses. Their eyes and they cease to see. Their ears, they rendered silent, but it is not death”.
The water Nymph entered the underworld and approached the god of death “ how do you kill a god?” Hades’s eyes gleamed remembering when he was one of the greatest. He whispered, but the wind carried “ with another god, an immortal for an immortal. Era for an Era. A celestial being strips another’s soul. He pauses, “ A god for a god’.
