Over time, cinema plays a crucial role in the field of commerce and entertainment. It has become an integral part of consumption in the lives of people. Especially in India, with the influence of cinema, people grow, inspire and expand their knowledge of society and the world.
Cinema portrays various cultures and art forms of different people from different states and countries that cover a wide aspect of awareness to the understanding of the audience. It acts as a reformative tool that challenges human values and morals and conveys a reflective change in decision-making and undertaking responsibilities. As cinema captures the taste of the viewers, it brings them closer to humankind and promotes harmony and growth. But the evolution of such making might not bear fruits to future generations. Cinema has the tremendous power to hit a striking motto in each rising era. As they lay down the strong appeal on a resistive issue due to the outgrowth of technology and interest, it turns out to be a hazardous intake for the audience. The extreme violence and physicality shown on the screen possess the ability to drive the capability of the society to think and act on their own.
The portrayal of characters in films is shown with certain qualities that rationalise positive and negative sides of an individual. The proposal scenes, the fight and rescue sequence, the loop concepts, the sci-fi myths, even the experiences of dreams, nightmares, past births and reincarnations and above all, the demeanour of villains and even ghosts - the way they dress and behave, everything has a strong impact towards the audience. Even if they illustrate a hypothetical God playing the game of treasure and hunt or hide and seek, we are bound to believe it as so. And the most popularised term contributed by cinema through their films and advertisements is ‘Fashion’. In order to bring flourish to beauty companies and make profits out of it, cinema tempts the instincts of the audience to get obsessed with fair and lovely skin and other trend setting on and on hooks. At last, we ourselves have become the major product selling out in the market of fashion.
It is a pity that the making of life is not in our own hands. Even the source of our mind’s imagination must be our innovation and thoughts. The moviegoers preach cinema as reality but it is just an exaggeration of details for a more exciting movie. The basis of human reality cannot be compared to cinematic reality as we can agree to it with common sense. But we allowed cinema to prove that common sense is not that common. Because even if life flows smoothly, people expect some petty complications and high-rated background scores in order to beat the fanatical fulfillments. So, I conclude that the media, leaders and comrades, active citizens, teenagers, children, politicians, public figures, businessmen, and even parents must encourage cinema as one of the teachings rather than having it part of the daily life. And children of tomorrow shall not view life through the screen yet awaken their dreams from the journey of exploration.
