Honey Bee' weds ' Honey Bun

A newly married couple, Husband Honey Bee and his wife, Honey Bun, irrespective of unpredictable clouds surrounding them, by divine grace, started their new chapter in a rented house. One day before their marriage, they both lost their jobs. Luckily, their savings funds came as a rescue. So, they planned to take a break for a month to develop and enjoy the budding phase of their union. Then, search for a job starting next month.

After a month, Honeybun started searching for a job to create a source of income. She was passionate about whatever she did and always had a dream of being successful in life. Conversely, Honey Bee had yet to figure out his career plan. Also, he decided that he did not want to work hard. So, He started to motivate Honeybee and told her to concentrate and earn both of their living. Then, Honeybee planned to cook and take care of the house. Take good rest in the house. Meanwhile, Honey Bun had to work for earnings to manage the expenses.

As days passed, Honey Bun got a job in a cake shop. At the same time, she had plans to build a source to open a cake shop on her own. She was restless chasing her career too hard. On the other side, Honey Bee started asking Honeybun to spend time with him. 

The same state continued. One sudden day, Honey Bun quit her job, rushed home, hugged Honey Bee and cried. Honey Bee was in shock but was very happy as she finally started to spend more quality time with him. As time flew by, the finances were going down. Honeybee started questioning her decision. 

Knowing the financial state, Honeybee shut the door out of anger and went out without hearing from Honey Bun. From then, Honey Bun started searching for a job again with less work time but more salary. So she could spend some more quality time with him. Finally, after three weeks of hard work and fewer sleeping hours, Honey Bun got a job in one of the biggest and most beautiful bakery shops in the place they live. As she expected, the work time was 5 hours and more salary.

Honey Bun came running home to share this happy news with Honey Bee. But Honey Bee did not express anything in return. He did not even wish her. Honey Bee felt sad for a while. Then, she started to cheer herself up. 

After a month, Honey Bun got her salary. It was three times higher than her previous salary. Honey Bun bought a new dress for her and a lot of spicy foods for them. When she reached home, she surprised Honey Bee with everything she got. And told him, ''As I promised, I did it, at least now will you speak with me?''  

Since she joined this big bakery shop, Honey Bee had not spoken with Honey Bun. Honey Bee became furious. He started scolding Honey Bee for her selection of clothes and eatables. He rushed to the next room and shut the door again.

The next day, when Honey Bee came from his room, Honey Bun asked, "What's wrong, Honey Bee? Don't you love me?"

Honey Bee replied, ‘'I do all the house cleaning and cooking work, but I do not get paid, yet I am the person who works more compared to you.''

His words broke Honey Bun. She questioned Honey Bee, ''Is it so?'' 

There was a brief pause. 

''Then, why has the house been full of food delivery packages and dirty for the past three months? Explain yourself.’'

Honey Bee, ''I am not paid, so I cannot work. We have to split this work 50/50 from now on.''

By this time, Honey Bun realised Honey Bee's ego was triggered. 

Honey Bun, ''You can also plan for work if you want, then we can work 50/50 of household work.''

Out of Bluemoon, Honey Bee started to search for a job. To make more money than Honey Bun and make her do 50/50 work of the household chores.

Honey Bee searched for a lot of job vacancies. Yet, he was not able to find any with his current skillset. And then he asked Honey Bun for her help.

Honey Bun enquired with her previous cake shop owner and found an opening for the same role she was working on before. Honey Bun told Honey Bee to go to the cake shop after wishing him the best. 

Honey Bee reached the cake shop the next day morning. While waiting outside the shop, he started daydreaming about the advanced infrastructure inside the shop and then millions of dollars flowing all over his body from this job. Suddenly, the cake shop owner came and asked him, ''Are you, Honey Bee?'' Honey Bee smiled in joy and said, ‘'Yes.''

The owner pushed him inside a small godown and closed the door. Inside, there were a lot of men and a few ladies. A person dressed like a chef appeared before him and told Honey Bee to follow him.

The Chef showed Honey Bee a place to make cakes. The small place was small with poor lighting. For baking cakes, there was one shared oven for all the bakers in the front of the kitchen, where the owner kept eyes on their work through a small mirror from outside.

The Chef started to teach Honey Bee how to bake a cake. After half a day, Honey Bee was feeling a lot of stress and pain all over his body. He felt a big difference between his household kitchen and this cooking space. It made him uncomfortable. He also saw a few male bakers mocking the female bakers while working. Honey Bee was starting to understand the pain Honey Bun took to work here. Honey Bee confronted the male workers and warned them. 

'‘Do not disturb them. They are also working for their families like us.''

The co-male bakers criticised Honeybee, ‘'Oh! is it?'' 

''We know your wife only gave you this job. So you will support girls only. Be a man and grab a job on your own.''

Honey bee replied, ''Without a woman, there will be no man in this world. If you criticise a woman, remember there are always two women with a man in his lifetime as his lifeline. The one who willingly risked herself to bring him to this world. The other who love him, guide him, support him, and be close throughout his life's journey. I lost the one who has brought me into this world. Now, I have the one who has shown me this path. Better behave yourself.''

He left and resumed making cakes.

Everyone was silent. 

At the end of his first day, Honey Bee made more than ten cakes. He felt a sense of accomplishment.

Honey Bun work started from 5 PM till 10 PM. Meanwhile, Honey Bee worked between 9 AM -and 5 PM. These few days of work gave him realisations of what he was doing with himself and her. Honey Bee found himself in pain. He wanted to meet Honey Bun badly and confess everything.

Honey Bee reached the Biggest Bakery where his wife, Honey Bun, worked. Before going in, he saw his wife from the glass door. He started waiting outside to see what Honey Bun was doing. Honey Bun entered the billing area. From there, she speeded towards a buyer, asking for what they were looking for and continued to move from place to place. She was carrying what they bought from floor to floor. He witnessed how Honey Bun was working hard. He did not expect this. He thought his wife was in a high position and earning more. 

Honey Bee stepped into the Bakery. As soon as Honey Bun saw Honey Bee, she unknowingly dropped a glass bottle of Jam. All the co-workers and manager ran towards Honey Bun to scold her. Honey Bee went in the middle and told them that it was an accident.

''Honey Bun is my wife. I will pay the full price of the Jam glass bottle. Leave her.''

He paid the bill with his whole first-day salary.

Honey Bun was shocked and asked Honey Bee, ’’Why did you give your hard-earned money?’’

''They would have taken it from my salary?''

Honey Bee laughed and replied, ''True! But! They will reduce the money from your salary after shouting and embarrassing you before everyone. I do not want my wife to suffer in pain, at least not in my presence.''

Honey Bun hugged Honey Bee tightly.

Both of them started to cry with joy.

The whole bakery saw them blushing all over.

They both then reached home happily.

On the way, Honey Bee said to Honey Bun, ''I thought your work was less compared to the previous cake shop, but this seems more difficult than the old one.''

Honey Bun gave a cute laugh. And said, ''Of course, my job is less than my previous job. I requested the bakery to do extra work. So I can make more money for both of us. I know you want to live a luxurious life. And so, I did my best to make your dreams come true. I left the cake shop work just because you asked me to spend more time with you. That is why I looked for a job with less work time and more pay. I told the previous cake shop owner to hold my position for a month in case you are willing.''

Tears started flowing from Honey Bee's eyes.

Honey Bee confessed to Honey Bun, ''I do not know if I am worthy of having such a lucky girl in my life.''

Honey Bun said, ''I am lucky to have you in my life, Honey Bee. You have had your insecurities but never stopped me from doing what I was doing. You showed me freedom. Today is an example of it. You always had my back. I could concentrate more on myself and my work initially because you took all the household duties and supported me as you did today.''

Honey Bee to Honey Bun, ''I love you, Sweetheart. Thank you for being the sweetest in all the situations.''

Honey Bun to Honey Bee, ‘‘I love you. Thank you for everything you have done. Especially appreciating and motivating me on the time needed.''
