Doors to Future

How even few inches of space can make a world of difference to a person’s life.

If you stand outside the two large school gates you could be nobody but if you are fortune enough to get through them into the school building you could be anybody. How the opening of two gates also opens up the world of possibilities has always enthralled me. When a child walks through the school gates for the first time he is devoid of a distinct identity and accomplishments but gradually as he passes from one mentor to another, one level to the next, a Chartered Accountant, technocrat or MBA starts taking shape and finally bold, prancing steps take place of that toddler’s shaky and unsteady steps.

I often marvel at the thought that how many Chartered Accountants, MBA’s, engineers, artists, musicians have walked back and forth from these two imposing gates in the nearly three decades of their existence.

Inside the gates lie a world of wisdom waiting to be explored by those who have in them all that is required to walk through the gates into their temple of knowledge.
