Daydreaming Nightmares

Noted Nest

By Deeshita Ghoshal

Every day, every night,

Turns into a daydream fair.

Every night, every day,

Turns into a nightmare fright.

Yet, the days keep going by,

And the nights keep coming forth,

With a sigh.

It's strange for the inexperienced and naive to,

Daydream in their nightmares,

And see nightmares in their daydreams.

Only those who know,

They know how painfully pleasurable,

Nightmarish daydreams are.

You keep running,

You keep laughing,

There's no end.

You keep screaming,

You keep crying,

Yet, there's no end.
