I think that I shall never see,
A time as lovely as a childhood dream.
A childhood which had a hungry mind,
With thoughts swinging like a grape wine,
A childhood where when life gets rough,
You can always play to pretend that you're tough,
A childhood where there were no fears,
And the broken toys were the only reason to shed tears,
A childhood where no one was judged,
Where all the pains were gone by a mother's hug,
A childhood where Santa did exist,
Where your dad's the one bringing you all the gifts,
A childhood where people didn't change,
And your friends were all the same,
Some days I wish I could go back in life,
Not to change anything but to feel a few things twice,
But maybe now it's time to move on,
Explore the world and make a life of my own,
Those memories shall always remain entrenched in my heart,
The childhood filled with love and laughter shall always be my part.
