Success, for me is not bound by the walls we build around it,
neither sculpted from gold or moulded by the fickle hands of fame,
nor found in the applause that fades as soon as it rises.
It is something quieter, something softer,
a morning where the weight of the day feels light
because every moment belongs to me alone,
and time stretches, empty and unhurried,
waiting for the first kiss of my brush.
It’s in the freedom to rise like the sun, unchained from expectation,
no burdens, no demands, no ticking clock to remind me of passing hours.
just the invitation to the canvas,
and the colours that patiently wait, ready to dance with my hands.
The world falls away,
and the rhythm of creation becomes my heartbeat,
each stroke a breath, each colour a word
in a language only I understand.
I want to live in those moments where time bends,
where clocks lose their meaning,
because there is nothing to return to,
nothing tugs at my sleeve,
and so, I paint until the sun sinks behind the hills,
then keep painting beneath the moon's silver gaze,
for art, like the ocean’s tide I painted, never rests,
and neither do I.
Success is not a finish line in this world of mine,
it’s the ability to lose myself so fully in the process
that the destination doesn’t even matter.
Right now, life pulls me in certain directions
demanding attention,
and painting “what I truly love”
becomes a stolen moment, a break in the noise.
But my dream of success is a life where that noise falls silent,
where the demands fade into the background
and my art stands at the centre,
unrushed, unbroken.
It’s not about climbing to the summit of mastery,
or seeing my name in lights.
Success isn’t measured in perfection,
nor by counting how many eyes see it.
It’s the space I create for myself,
the freedom to paint without limits,
without the fear that time will run out
before my soul speaks its truth.
It’s the luxury of forgetting the world,
letting the hours slide through my fingers like grains of sand
because the only thing that matters
is the canvas breathing before me.
Imagine a day where I wake, and nothing else matters
Just the golden sunlight and
the scent of paint, the soft touch of brushes in my hand.
Success is that day, multiplied by a lifetime,
where the act of creating
becomes not something I “fit in,”
but something I live through, fully and freely.
Success, for me is the absence of limitations,
the freedom to exist wholly in the flow of my work,
to lose myself in the sweep of colours, the arc of lines, the rhythm of motion,
and never feel the tug of the world outside.
It’s the luxury of time, unbroken and uninterrupted,
where each day is mine to sculpt.
That is the shape of success for me
the moment I can live in the art,
and nothing else.
