My dearest gentle breeze,
will you tell me this please?
How do you come unnoticed
and change the fate of my mundane feast?
That one night,
under the damp shade of the lamp,
as my hands held the half closed book,
you walked in embracing the calm
and put me to sleep while lingering in that nook.
That another day,
from my unplanned naps,
you awoke me with no want of claps.
You broke my thinking pattern
that only sound could awake me
in absence of any light from the lanterns.
Oh breeze, when I let you in,
you weren't my own kin.
How then did you exactly know
of what I was in need?
So please tell me,
are you just a breeze?
What is it that I can do for you?
For I am a fool,
who does not know despite a million fine clues.
Before you go,
can you let me know?
Do you always go with the flow
or halt and step aside and just watch it all flow?
How is it that I will grow?
