The earthy plane of the yard,
Wet, tickling grass underneath,
Nuzzling icy breeze,
Shivers run deep down the veins.
With brain fogging sleepy haze,
And lids growing heavy
To calm my raging soul,
I shut down my drowsy droopy eyes.
A snap with a jolt;
The chirpers were dancing in the air,
Flaunting their vibrant coloured wings,
Sounding more like a melody,
A stir to unleash my inner child,
As my body sways to the rhythm.
The symphony of attention craving the sky,
A divine display of majestic grandeur.
Painted with colours,
A palette could never posses
The sun peeking from behind the hill,
Had an astonishing red,
As if it had worn some blush.
I just stood there,
With the warmth of being enveloped in love.
As if the dawn greeted me for another beautiful day.
