In the heart of a lush, magical forest, where vibrant flora whispered
secrets and ethereal lights danced among ancient trees, Allen the
Treasure Hunter and his dwarf accomplice, Rodolfo, found themselves
amidst nature's splendors. The air was thick with the scent of blooming
flowers and the faint hum of hidden creatures.
Suddenly, the peaceful atmosphere shattered. Loud thumps and the
sound of destruction echoed through the trees. The scene shifted
dramatically as two figures emerged, running for their lives from a
monstrous creature. The beast, an Armored Rockdragon, was a
formidable sight—its spiky rock armor plates emitted magical flames
that flickered menacingly.
Allen, a man of striking appearance with long white hair tied into an
asymmetrical layered pixie cut that trailed into a ponytail, fair skin, and
mesmerizing red eyes, sprinted with a large brown suitcase in hand. He
wore a simple white shirt, black pants, and shoes, standing roughly five
feet and nine inches tall. Beside him, Rodolfo, a stout dwarf, struggled
to keep up. Clad in the attire of a seasoned explorer, with short brown
hair, brown eyes, and a mixed complexion, Rodolfo's four-foot frame
was burdened by a large backpack.
"Allen, you got us into trouble again!" Rodolfo shouted; his voice filled
with exasperation. "An Armored Rockdragon is after us!"
Allen shrugged nonchalantly; his demeanor annoyingly casual. "Chill,
Rodolfo," he said, a smirk playing on his lips. As they ran, Allen opened
his suitcase. It seemed empty, but Allen reached inside and pulled
out...an umbrella?
"Hang on to me!" Allen instructed. Rodolfo, panting heavily, grabbed
Allen's hand as they neared a cliff. Without hesitation, the two leaped
into the void, the Armored Rockdragon hot on their heels.
Allen laughed as the umbrella opened, revealing its magical properties.
Instead of plummeting, they soared through the air. The beast roared in
frustration as it watched its prey escape.
As they landed safely at the edge of the forest near a small town,
Rodolfo let go of Allen, collapsing to the ground and taking deep
breaths. "You get us into trouble too often!" he shouted, his tone a mix
of anger and affection.
Allen grinned, unfazed. "That's just how the life of treasure hunters is,
Rodolfo."
Rodolfo sighed, resigning himself to his fate. "Well, we're here. Let's
hope the rumors we heard are true."
Allen nodded, stowing the umbrella back in his suitcase. The duo
walked towards the city, observing the bustling activity at the entrance.
Carts moved in and out, but several merchants lingered outside, looking
despondent.
Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, Allen remarked, "After the 'discovery,'
the Count, ruler of Sakura City, increased entry charges and taxes.
Many can't afford to go in."
Rodolfo shook his head. "Without proof, it's just meaningless
conjecture. There's a low chance they actually found a map to one of
those treasures."
At the city gate, Allen and Rodolfo presented their Identity passes from
the Treasure Hunter Association. The guards' eyes widened in
recognition. "The Odd Dwarf and The White Hunter," one muttered,
astonished.
Allen gave a mischievous grin as he gave a dramatic pose before saying,
“It is indeed I, Allen the treasure hunter!”
Rodolfo scowled at his friends' behavior and the epithet he had been
given.
Allen gave Rodolfo a pat on his back, trying to calm the angered dwarf
down, as the two entered Sakura City.
