Respected Hon'ble Smt.Gaikwad,

Greetings from the Somani family.

My name is Annika Anatvikram Somani and I am 11 years old. I am a student in the J.B.Petit High

School For Girls, Fort, Mumbai. I am currently studying in the 6th Grade. At the very onset, I would

like to thank you for all your efforts in starting an online schooling platform to keep us children and

our families safe.

I am writing this letter to you to request the re-opening of my school J.B.Petit High School For Girls.

It has been quite a long time since physical school has shut down and online school has begun. We

are grateful that you started the method of online schooling so that we do not miss out on our

education when the physical school shut down but we are beginning to miss physical school a lot.

You see the fun of meeting our friends and teachers in real life and schooling together is not the

same as online remote schooling. We do get to learn but the fun of sitting in a classroom and

studying is not the same. During online school, we all have to sit for hours and hours propped up on

a chair and stare at a screen. Although we are grateful that technology has advanced and people are

coming out with new online learning platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft team, ByJus learning apps,

and so on.

I will take all the necessary precautions and follow all the protocols to ensure the safety of myself, my

fellow students, teachers and staff to prevent Covid 19 from affecting us. We will maintain social

distancing and make sure to sanitize our hands now and then. We will all wear our masks and follow

all the covid 19 guidelines. We will make sure to get our stuff from home and not share things of

personal use.

When you receive this letter please consider reopening my school too.
